Michael Anthony Strahan (born November 21, 1971 in Houston, TX) is a retired football player, talk show host, sports analyst, and game show host. He played on the New York Giants as a defensive end from 1993-2008, winning a championship in Super Bowl XLII. In his football career, he is most remembered for the many sacks he made. Strahan is notable in the game show world for hosting the physical sports reality game show Pros Vs. Joes during its second season with his NFL on FOX colleague Jay Glazer. Strahan is currently a sports analyst for the NFL on FOX, and full-time host of Good Morning America. For five years he was the co-host with Kelly Ripa on Live! with Kelly and Michael since Regis Philbin retired; he replaced Regis on the show. Michael is also frequently seen in commercials for Subway sandwiches. Michael also hosted the first annual Kids Choice Sports Awards and also he has been inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This summer, he will become the new host of The $100,000 Pyramid on ABC.
